Fox names Jake as the starter against Arizona

I'm disappointed but can't say I'm surprised. All this tells me that it's do or die for Jake Delhomme. He f**ks up again and he's toast. But if he plays like poo I want him to really play like poo, not some sup-par crap performance where you could make the argument that he played decent. This way Jake will for sure be benched.

Wait...wasn't that last Sunday? :D

Well yea but this past week was the first time Fox has evaluated the QB position(apparently). Delhomme's dick is jammed too far up Fox's ass to let go just yet. Thus if Jake has a performance similar to the Bucs or Redskins games Fox we be able to get away with saying poo like " It was good enough to win " bla blah blah. But if Jake totally shits himself like last week and blatantly destroys any potential production of the offense Fox will be forced to bench him because he can't save face.

Yanno what? Good for Fox. Good for Jake. Hope that it works out and we kick Arizona's butts in revenge for last year.

Got a problem with it? At any time, you are welcome to go buy a Peyton Manning jersey or become a Colts fan, or bow down at the shrine of Belichik while cheering Tom Brady. That's right, if it bothers ya this much, switch teams.

Me, I'm a Panthers fan, and I'll tune in Sunday to watch, and I hope my team wins.

We want a new coach and QB, not a new team. My loyalty is to the Panthers regardless of what happens but to say everyone that doesn't agree with you should leave and find a new team is very narrow minded in my opinion.

this is just more proof that we will not see changes this year. Honestly no matter how poorly jake plays i don't see his job in jeopardy one bit. Fox is gonna ride out delhomme until they both (better) get released at the close of the season. I got to my first home panthers game in a while and watched them get owned by the bills who are one of the worst teams around right now.

I have watched bills games for years up here in NY going to atleast 3-4 a year and idk if I have ever seen such ugly play as jakes terrible passes. How do you overthrow a 6'5 player?

the other players might not be at 100% on all plays but c'mon over the last 7 games jake delhomme has

5TD, 18INT, 3 Fumbles(2 lost, 1 recovered) and a rating under 50.

now please explain how he really is the BEST option?
