He's playing behind a variety of guys on 1 year deals.  I am completely fine with giving a 4th rounder a year to grow.  I am completely fine with not needing him to step into a major role right now.

There’s only so many studs, news makers and top rookies so most guys don’t get much news. 

I hope he makes the 53 man roster.  He may not clear the waiver wire.  That would suck.

Seriously, I think he needs to grow some and become a solid pro.  Get started with special teams and move into the rotation.    Reevaluate in the back half of the season. There will be opportunities for learning and progressing.

You would think that whether he was playing well or not so good that the media would be talking about him. He was hyped up as being a future important piece on our D

A 4th round pick would have to look like a complete dud all preseason long not to make the 53. I guess if you wanted to stash on PUP or something maybe.

i do really think he would not make it to the practice squad and it would be a wasted pick.

its also very early to think people are busts or booms. 

We've all seen camp warriors play like Pop Warner out there and others become stars.

Has anyone been there watching him in drills and practice specifically?

Geez Louise ladies, wait for a few preseason games to come and go before getting your panties in a wad. And a fourth round pick is making the team already, provided there aren't any grand-theft-auto charges. Give the guy time to get some coaching, if the has natural abilities they eventually come out.

If any one DE/OLB is getting cut, it's the ones that can only play 1 position and trying to learn a new one like Obada, Cox, or Addison. Miller isn't getting cut lol.
