Oh wow! Like others have said, I reckon this is with an eye to his media career, although I did think he was returning to California to pursue that.

Not sure I'd change things. Paradis is a great signing and has OTAs and a full Training camp behind him, whilst Kalil is coming off the couch.

It's hard for these guys to retire, especially once training camps starts up and they find themselves on the outside looking in for the first time. Suddenly all the pain and aches from the end of last season seem like a distant memory, and you feel like you've got a little more juice left in the tank.

He didn't even go to a contender. He just wants to play and get paid. I get it. I don't begrudge him one bit.

At least he had the good taste not to go to a division rival. Hell, the only way the Panthers cross paths with him at all is if Panthers and Jets end up in the Super Bowl.
