He played the Panthers!!!!!  went on a sob story about a retirement tour because he knew he would be cut for his massive CAP last year so Panthers would keep him and convinced the Organization to sign his sorry ass brother prior to that- Ma Fugg this sorry A$$ SOB

The fraud retirement tour is my issue, heard him say a few times "This is it, Im 100% retiring" After a few people asked him about coming back too. The Kalil name meaning to panthers fan has changed.

Wish Ryan the best, but certainly happy with getting Paradis. Provided he's healthy, and it appears he is, we definitely upgraded there.

Jets wanted Paradis bad... ironic they ended up with Kalil.

Players change their minds about retirement, and I do think the NYC market and playing with a fellow USC guy in Darnold played a big role.

Ryan had a great career here, even though he was never the same Pro Bowl talent after 2015. One of the better draft picks in Panthers history.

Just bc it didnt work out with his brother shouldn't detract from his career here or what a great guy he was on or off the field.

And even with Matt Kalil, it was obliviously a horrible signing but I really think he did try his best. That was 100% on Gettleman. That signing and letting Norman go were definitely reason enough to can him. Being an arrogant ahole was just the icing on the cake.

The twisted road has finally come full circle for Ryan.  With one of the most debatable trades in Panthers history, MH gave the 2007 14th pick to the Jets for 25,59 and 164. They took future HOFer Revis and we got Beason,Kalil, and Shaw.  A 2 for 1 starter plus a good STer vs a first ballot HOFer. Of course, we may not have taken Revis @14. As I recall, we were looking @Safety and there were 3 between 15 and 25.  When Meriweather went to NE @24, we went with Beason.  So, Kalil now goes to the team that held his original draft position and the circle is complete.
