PFF article stated the jets have been talking to him over 2 months about coming out of retirement

I truly appreciate what he did as a Panther and before injured he was as good a Center as there was in the league. Having said that, he is totally washed up and has a very good chance of another major injury. Some guys cant accept that they are done and who knows maybe he was pissed about his brother's stay in Carolina. Either way, I hope he gets abused, but not injured. After all we did for him, major money and signing his awful brother, what a stupid way to go out.

Just got the notification from my ESPN app and I thought it was a joke.  WTF?

WTF.  Wow.    Maybe the way things played with his brother had a part?   Maybe he didn't really want to retire or was encouraged too?  Probably non of those.  He retired.  They showed big bucks, he un-retired.
