I do agree that our rookies are looking good. They definitely could look even better if the QB play was even average NFL level. Nobody is gonna get a ton of yards when your QB is throwing for 150 per start. Yea, BY is averaging 150 yards per start this year. Which is good for . . . wait for it . . . wait for it . . . dead last in the NFL! Gardner (*@$ing Minshew is averaging 200 per start! -
That is great and all but based on how Bryce looks....seems unlikely to happen, the best thing is to move on early versus letting it linger. Move on, invest into the roster as a whole Free Agency / Draft, and once the ''team'' is ready be in position to make a move for a QB. I'd take a Fields, he at least offers elite traits to build off of, or sign a vet to bridge the gap. I'd be interested in Milroe if he dropped to the bottom of the 1st in a trade up similar to how we got Legette. Let him sit a year and develop. While we would have still used our likely top 10 pick on a blue chip player, I'm also not against trading back in the first depending on the options etc. We need a lot. -
