Wasn't Captain Munnerlyn a stud for us at Nickel? It came at a relatively high price, but if we could plug in a young guy in Gaulden, that can excel at nickel for a few years, that'd be a nice luxury to have.

Gaulden is a bigger body and can perform box duty as well as body up bigger receivers and tight ends in the slot. That is something Munnerlyn couldn't accomplish and it adds flexibility for play calling.

However, I'm not sold that Boston is much of an upgrade. He is a solid player but playing behind that Charges front 7 helped him last season. Perhaps Reid and Boston make a formative duo with our front 7 being the focal point? Who knows. Either way, the love fest for Boston here stems, not from his play on the field, but from his UNC roots (not that i'd be too proud of that).

You guys who can't let go of school rivalries crack me up. Did you go to Duke, State or WF?

So Hurneys Gaulden experiment is over. Hopefully the Little experiment never sees the light of day. Dude is Amini 2.0 and should never play LT in the nfl

I didn't like the Little pick either but I'm not going to write him off as a bust this quickly. I hope I'm wrong and that he's the long-term replacement to Jordan Gross that we've been trying to find for a decade.

SD two years ago, last year in Arizona, but I understand what you're saying.

None of the above. I'm fiscally responsible and realistic in my expectations for pay back period. Suffice is to say my M.S. and B.S. have left me in a much better position with far less debt than would've been accrued at Duke or Wake Forest within 2 years.

I'm an App State fan due to proximity of where I grew up.

And I generally despise the Wal-Mart UNC fan group that I grew up around.
