   Cam Newton not throwing today so he is content to provide loud commentary on team drills. He protested an offensive PI call on DJ Moore, then screamed “Moneybags!” when Moore caught a nice sideline throw on next play.

Probably not, just normal R&R after a couple days of heavy throwing.  A little ice the next day is a normal thing.  I would imagine that this is out of an abundance of caution, and also Cams shoulder is probably sore.  Doesnt mean there is anything wrong in there though.  A pitcher will be sore as hell the day after a start, but still have nothing wrong inside.
