Was a good story about him leading to draft but there were some medical concerns about him leading to draft though

I'm sure others with more knowledge will weigh in.  Electro started a long thread about it when this was happening to Montez Sweat.  Assuming it is similar to Samuel also.

my take was less about the young man than about the discussions in the war room about trading up to get him at the bottom of the first.

Dam it that’s a blow a first rounder is usually expected to have a impact on your success in year one.

he's one of two first rounders for the Falcons, but this is a shame.  Curtis is so much smaller, I wonder if Kaleb being so big has anything to do with this.

they gave the Rams picks 45 and 79 (2nd/3rd) to move up to 31st and the rams threw in #203.  It was a costly move up even without the health questions.

I remember when Curtis was coming back from this, and people were asking why can't he play if he's cleared, and Ron saying something to the effect of "It's is heart.  You have to think about him first."

Hopefully, Falcons do the same thing.

Very little, if any at all, they knew his medical history before they drafted him. All the major players in the FO would have had to sign off on the pick.  Seems reasonable that this is a blip, just like for Samuel.

We have no room to talk.  We gave up 48 and 77 to move up in the second round.  With nothing in return.  And our guy may not see the field either.

Not too terrible considering a first rounder gives you the 5th year option.
