You really going to give Gruden credit for Monte Kiffin's defense? That defense was stout before Gruden got there. Kiffin is one of the greatest defensive coordinators of all time. He invented the Tampa 2.

Gruden won a Super Bowl because he lucked into inheriting one of the greatest defenses ever. He had no part in building that D.

Gruden had a top 10 defense with the Raiders as well... Also, Dungy worked with Kiffin to create the Tampa 2.

Luke looked fine to me after the early departure, but will have to follow up. He’s been smiling. That’s always a decent sign.
