This early in camp, the advantage should fall squarely on Burns. Little got a bit too far outside and Burns swam on him. Little will learn not to over pursue.

It's not like he's going against Peppers or some other veteran pass rushing stud.  He's going against another rookie.  Burns is just as raw as he is, just very athletic.

Little is a waste bender and that can be corrected with agility footwork drills--give Matsko at least a week,  folks.  When the head drops, the DE/OLB can do what he wants.

Here is the good news---if he cannot play LT, he still has a chance to start at LG--(Williams to LT).

If it were Burns that was sucking, we would have a first round bust concern.  It is what it is, and what it is is not the end of the world, if things continue.

It’s hotter this morning. Coaches trying to push tempo. Couple bigger guys visibly queasy on the side. Veteran Kyle Love appears to have an ice pack or large wrap on his left quad/hamstring - might have had it hit by a helmet or something.

Cool detail: Sam Mills working DTs on pass rush drills. He’s yelling “HUTT” hard-count style to try to get them to jump, and they’re supposed to watch his feet to see when to actually move, instead of just on the yell. Development after a couple jumps yesterday.
