Same with hating on Baker Mayfield for no obvious reason. Then getting embarrassed by Baker because he didn't have a real opinion, just a troll opinion.

Trolling is fun in certain instances. Trolling as a way of building a career as a "sports journalist" is fuging pathetic.

This. To be a radio "personality", you have to have strong opinions or no one will listen to your show. It doesn't matter if you are right or wrong, in fact, the more people that disagree with you the better.

I remember the internet when trolling was extremely rare. It was actually quite nice.

The world would probably be better without social media. It has done far more harm than good.

I was not saying this facetiously, just that the internet would prolly not be as profound as it is now, without trolling.

He started taking little shots at Cam a couple years ago after he said some Panthers fans got at him on Twitter or stg over stg he said about Cam. He also said fans of small market teams will defend and make more excuses for their guys because "we" don't have as much as fans of larger markets teams. He loves Andrew Luck and for some crazy reason thinks/said that "everyone" hates Luck and loves Cam, smh.

Eh....I don't know that I agree with that sentiment. The positives of the internet have little to do with trolling. Trolling is a generally accepted norm but I can't say that it is an overall net positive. There is no question it creates a shitload of extremely entertaining content. But I think the internet would be as much if not more profound without the trolling to the extent that it has become. 

Either way, we shouldn't get too far off in the weeds on a non-football discussion. After all, it's training camp time!!!
