Let’s be perfectly clear. The releasing of veteran players on the eve of training camp is wrong and indefensible, unless there are circumstances we are unaware of, and have been clearly explained to the player and agent. It’s just wrong.

I imagine CLE / BAL will be sniffing since they missed out on GMC. 

I wonder who else would show interest for a 3-4 DE, maybe NE...fml

SD, HOU, PIT are some other playoff caliber options as well, but I know zero about their cap situations.

Like the Mason Foster release, there has to be more to this story. Teams don't just up and release some of their most productive players in the days leading up to camp because they've all of a sudden decided they no longer need their services.

IDK about Mason Foster though. The Redskins have been a not so great organization this offseason.

Agree, we could prob stand to cut Butler at this point unless he comes in with a totally different attitude.  

All we need on Defense is a Safety and perhaps another LB..

We are more loaded at DL than we've been in quite awhile, but Daniel's is super versatile...  could be a nice piece for a hybrid system.  That being said, he's prolly too pricey anyway.
