Part of the problem is he doesn't own it publicly. At least he didn't. That's a big deal.

What he says publicly is not a big deal at all. Not a single one of those guys in there give a sh*t about what he says in public. They care about his actions and how he treats them in that locker room and on the field.

Cause people don't care if they get thrown under the bus in the press on a regular basis while the guy who is steering the ship keeps pointing fingers at everyone else. Public perception matters. At some point you're going to have a mutiny on your hands. They like him now. They won't always. When the waters get rough and stay rough and he does that poo they'll turn on him. It's not a good thing for a leader to be doing in any organization.

My takeaway is that we don't pay attention. Newton's shoulder issue started much earlier. It was talked about in media, in press conferences, by Rivera. Yet we were certain it was the Steelers game. Also that his shoulder was not the issue with this team.

People (fans) didn't want to hear it.  I was saying his shoulder wasn't right from day 1 of training camp.

Got labeled a "hater".

Newton's shoulder clearly was a substantial factor in the trajectory of our season effectively torpedoing.

Unfortunately the defense was at times horrific, you can't downplay that. There is simply no excuse for a Luke Kuechly helmed defense to give up 40+ points in primetime, beginning with basically an instant touchdown by Pittsburgh after our offense set the tone to start the game. You aren't going to win much in the NFL playing like that regardless of who is behind center.

Simple answer to that is Eric Washington sucks ass.

Yeah Bradberry clips were all probably so boring that they couldn’t use them. Surprised by lack of Curtis though. And 3 episodes in there’s been no Donte either but maybe he’s coming?

Donte gets a lot of coverage in episode 4 I believe. The kid has a lot of growing up to do as he doesn’t take constructive criticism too well. But it’s what expect from someone his age and his level of talent.
