While I appreciate that we might not have seen everything, in speaking only of the portrayal, most of the "negative" from Donte came prior to the Pittsburgh game . . . not while we were on that losing streak.  He had coaches and players all talking to him about mistakes he kept making . . . while we were winning.

Perhaps the season changed him.  Time will tell.  Time also has a chance to change him.  It did with Cam, it can with Donte.  I don't expect him to be the "finished product" at this point of his career, nor should he expect it of himself.  He should however listen when coaches and veterans try to help him.

Maybe JNo could give him a call.

Another thing was he was getting talked to by mike adams and captain munnerlyn who were equally if not more to blame for the disastrous secondary that we had. Maybe if he didnt have scrubs trying to talk to him he would have reacted a bit differently.

This is the best thing I’ve ever watched on Amazon. I would pay some good money to see this each and every year. I really feel like this will be a special season coming up and I’m disappointed to know that we likely won’t get the same “inside” footage of the upcoming season. My main takeaway is that my perception of Ron has totally changed. He was lighting in to those “Motherf**kers” during halftime of the Pittsburgh game and it was glorious. I’ve always hated sideline Ron for being so stoic and carefree, but that dude has some damn passion! What a treat to see all this. Wish we could see this every season!

So finally got done binge watching it.  Here are a couple take aways.

There was some obvious contentious feelings on the overall effort and focus of Donte last year.  Not sure if that was because he got a big head because of the fast start he had or whether it’s just the normal growing pains of a rookie.  My gut tells me he got a little too big for his britches but was brought back to earth after the Steelers game.

Cam’s shoulder was done as soon as he showed up on the injury report early in the season

I think Rivera behind the scenes is a good coach  I think all he stuff we hear from him usually is pure coach speak and no one should put any truth to any of that

Washington was pissed  after his demotion   Look at his reaction in the meeting when RR is explaining why he let Hoke and Imura go   Washington looked resentful as hell

Overall that was awesome   I wish we had that every year   I will definitely watch it again

Really surprised at the lack of following CMC, the one big highlight of the year in regards to production.  Other then that, was a very good show and the ending did give me higher hopes to start this season.

BTW Ryan crying by himself in the team meeting room after the Saints game was rough, I felt that.

Agree.  That guy has bled black and blue his whole career and better end up in our hall.

Wow, just finished. Absolutely amazing. Episode 7 was especially brutal. Eric Washington did not have a good look there. He didn’t seem to have the respect of his players at all. TD was particularly annoyed with him. They seem willing to run through walls for Rivera though.

Who knows what this season will be like but I have 100% faith in Rivera and Tepper to eventually build a winner.
