ESPN ranks NFL offenses

We're unrankable right now. Without seeing how Cam's shoulder looks, we just don't know. 22nd might be about right if we're fielding a bum shouldered Cam or a 3rd round rookie at QB. Sure, we have some intriguing weapons, but at the end of the day this is a QB driven league now.

If Cam comes back 100% like we all hope he will, this could be a top 5 offense.  Hell, it could be the number 1 offense if everybody shows out.  I know one thing, we are going to be explosive.  There will be a lot of long TD runs and catches this season.

Bill Barnwell has never been much of a Panthers fan, but 22nd sounds about right. If everything goes positive, we'll be as good (if not better) than '15 Panther's offense. If Cam's shoulder breaks again, Olsen goes down on Week 1, DJ has a sophomore slump, CMC gets injured, we're toast.

Wow that's a lot of ifs

This list is laughable. Seems like someone said "Hey Barnwell, we need some content. Throw some poo up, thanks"

The #1 team on his list, has two players with bad knees and 2 small receivers....

He has the Eagles at #4 with  2 of the players being peeps who yet to even step on the field. Then 2 others who can't stay on the field.

We have a QB coming off shoulder surgery that could not throw the ball ten yards last year and our offensive weapons have very short track records or, in Olsen’s case, has had major injuries in consecutive seasons.

The potential for a top five offense is certainly there as we have high ceiling talent all over, but CMC is the only one I would say also has a high floor.  If a division rival had those type of questions marks we would laugh at a top ten raking for them.

Meh, to much talk about fantasy and CMC not scoring td's early in the season.  He is productive regardless of whether he gets the td or he gets it close and then someone else gets in the end zone.  If Cam's arm comes back, and we don't have a spate of injuries, we should be ok.  If not, its going to be a long season.

I concur with the general consensus. While we have a very high ceiling on our offense, it would be tough to find an offense that has a wider gap to the floor.

Cam coming back from injury, Olsen coming back from injury, considerable changes on the OL and a talented but relatively unproven WR corps. And keep in mind we are pretty thin at almost every position on offense. A couple of key injuries and it could go south pretty quickly, which is largely what killed us last season.

Buuuuuuuut.......it's an odd numbered year. Superb Owl incoming.

Somehow, with the weapons we have Bill Barnwell has us ranked 22, Bucs are 14th while Cons and Aints are top 10https://es.pn/2XAIgwZ

Everyone not named CMC on the offensive side of the ball is either potential or a question mark. Cam and Greg are proven, but both coming off injury. We don’t have any proven WRS

He wasn't ranking best offense. It's a ranking of best offensive "weapons" (wr, rb, te). So all the talk about Cam's shoulder is irrelevant. I think his analysis is reasonable but I'm counting on Moore and Samuel to make big leaps and easily surpass that ranking.

Ayup. Right on the money.

And the Bucs are getting a big boost in the ratings because of the perceived Arians effect. I'm not buying into it right now. That's Jameis Winston, not Kurt Warner. Heck, he isn't even Carson Palmer (who was always overrated).

The Patriots in the top 10 makes no sense. Who do they have other than a couple decent rbs? They have a nearly 40 year old Ben Watson replacing Gronkowski and an even less remarkable recieving corps than they had last year, which is saying something. I would rank then under the Panthers. Seems at every skilled position the Panthers have more talent.
