Will be interesting to see how Norv and Ron decide to use Cam. Starters normally don’t play much in the preseason but will they want to see how that arm is before opening against the Rams...

Camp will give a lot of opportunity to see his arm and in a way where they can test it exactly as they see fit. I sort of doubt he plays that game.

In 2 weeks, Training Camp starts....that's enough for me.  This week has sucked.   At least the British Open is next week, that'll help.

Don't hold your breath. I don't think they're going to want to push Cam to hard too fast nor expose him to unnecessary hits in the preseason. Plus, I think they'll want to keep the Rams guessing as to the status of that arm too.

I'd be shocked to see Cam throw a deep ball in the preseason even if his arm is back to 100%.

I think it’s a major tell / red flag if they don’t test Cam physically in a live situation before the opener. I can’t imagine the plan is to save all of his game throws until week 1. He has to show them where the shoulder is at before the Rams game, right?

When are established players ever pushed coming off of injury in preseason? Hell, established players are generally protected through the preseason even if they're not coming off of injury.

I compare it to a pitcher coming off Tommy John. That same pitcher is going to go throw to live hitters in live games at some point in the minors or spring training etc before he makes his return to the big leagues. I hope they see where’s he’s at in the 3rd preseason game at least. That’s all I’m saying.
