Favorite moments from Smitty’s career

The Texans will always be my favorite Smitty in beast mode game. He made that whole defense look foolish, they had to feel foolish too.

Cam almost did the same against the Patriots, hopefully he can bounce back and show us some of that same Hoodini escapability.

I loved the mental game he played with corners. Probably my favorite was the one against deangelo hall in 2007 where hall ended up getting 67 yards in penalties.

Absolutely. It was one of his best weapons—savage psychological warfare. An angry 5’9” man with tree stumps for calves. And he didn’t just rage and rant at the opposition—89 was a creative demoralizer of DB’s. He ran that mouth with a purpose.

Yep. He was prone to getting a bit too caught up in it himself and crossing the line, but that was part of the wonderful danger in that powder keg. You'd watch knowing there was likely to be some kind of explosion. Every game. Even every practice. At some point something big would happen and no one knew how big it would be. Never a dull moment, that's for sure. Not ever....well maybe 2010, but let's not talk about that.
