Yes, yes it is. Try for a top 4 pick for a few years and let the young guys we have now grow. Instead of picking 11th or 12th. Though, I think Rozier will limit our tank to that sweet spot MJ likes around 8 or 9. It happens.

Really?? Some of you have lofty expectations of Rozier that I have no clue why.. He isn't good enough to stop the tank for a top 5 pick..Imo

Seriously? It's easy. In two years Batum comes off the books and we have no more big money contracts. Better yet, MJ attempts to use his ego to get BAtum to acknowledge that he hasn't earned this contract and asks him to rescind the final years earnings. Two seasons should see a decent free agent market open back up and along with two lottery picks, that hopefully pan out, Bacon, Rozier, and at least one wing from this class, the Hornets will be in a much better position.

Assuming the Front Office can get their stuff together...that is.

    • I find it more like now that I have been forced to watch Young so much it isn’t as much of a shock to my senses.   Desensitized they call it.   For real, it just looks normal almost now. Where the first game of 2023 I wasn’t sure what I was looking at it was so out of bounds for NFL type play. I literally couldn’t make sense of what I had seen vs Atlanta that first week.
    • Lynch in SF. Great is subjective but he has done pretty well there.
    • Sure, except Stroud has the ability to stretch the field with deep passes. He did that often last night with ease, but couldn’t connect on many due to being flustered by the defense. BY9 gets flustered and can’t throw screens, let alone even think about any deeper passes. Stroud would’ve changed the franchise and done more with the situation last year. My thought at least.    the hope is that last year showed tepper that he needed to step back from football decisions. There’s a positive in most situations and maybe we’ll see a new tepper in the near future.
