A list of every top-tier free agent QB and possible top-tier QB draft pick next year

I just thought it was funny that Luck up until this year has not been mentioned a single time by anybody, and now he is the can't miss prospect of the decade. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Luck guy, my cousin is Ryan Whalen and I'll see him tomorrow at thanksgiving and you better believe we'll be talking about Andrews chances of being on the Panthers next year almost exclusively for the whole day.

Most often college freshman QB's get very little ink. Just saying.

luck was getting tons of press last year.

It would alway start with someone mentioning toby gerhart then say something like "oh and by the way, this andrew luck kid? special." he's the best qb prospect since palmer, and the best physical prospect since peyton manning.

scouts have been drooling over him since high school, it's just taken this long for him to creep up into the national conversation. remember, national dialogues are planned in advance for sports. I'll give you one guess who was the main qb talked about last year.

I agree, but I'm not talking about national media as much as people here. I'm simply reminding people to temper their excitement as last year around here it was all Locker and Clausen (Bradford too but it was known he'd be #1 overall), and now we have Clausen and he looks mediocre so far. Maybe he'll breakout and be great, I don't know. Last year Luck was great aside from his 50% completion percentage, but now everyone is all over him. And again, I'm a Luck guy and hope to get a lot of good information from Ryan tomorrow. I'm gonna pick his brain if he thinks Andrew will declare and what he thinks Harbaugh might do, etc. But just remember that Luck is a sophomore and will likely take time to develop.

People on here are ignorant ACC/SEC fans who mostly believe what ESPN tells them.

Funny.

In my experience SEC fans hate ESPN because ESPN would rather spend their time talking about some garbage Big 12 team over a conference that is consistently better than the rest of college football year in and year out.

Last year I was not sold on Clausen but to be honest he has done well with the situation he has been put in. I could only imagine how it must feel to be stated then yanked, then started just to be yanked in the 4th, then started once again.

I think we keep Clausen no matter what but Luck could be the best QB in a while and no other player really helps us as the #1 or #2 pick except QB.

I agree and disagree. Clausen was put in a crap situation. Fox hates rookies and has never cared to develop a young QB. I don't agree that no one helps us at the #1 or #2 pick other than Luck. Patrick Peterson would be a upgrade over Marshall. AJ Green has a better shot of replacing Smith than Gettis or Lefell. Also i am not convinced that Andrew Luck is the end all be all some do. His oline gives him all day. I have not seen him under pressure from a pass rush or playing from behind too often. Also his deep ball seems to hang in the air too long. Also i really am not impressed with the defenses he has faced this year. I see no point in collecting QB's. Pike and Clausen are two projects and Free Agency has options.

I've been on luck for over a year now.

You must not have looked at the FA market this year or you would know that its horrid.

AJ Green is useless to us because LaFell and Gettis are playing lights out for a crap team. The only problem they have is a crap Oline and poor QB decision making. I am not ready to give up on Clausen in one year but to pass luck up would be foolish. We have people to replace Marshall and Smith but what we dont have is a Franchise QB. A QB that can make plays with his legs and arms. Every Team in our Div has a Franchise QB except us... If luck is there we have to take him. There is no other player on the board that would help us more.
