I've got no problem with him leaving. Its definitely not a ridiculous thing to do when the Cavs were essentially the worst managed franchise in the league. I mean really...you have one of the two best players in the league and all the help you get him is a washed-up Shaq and Antwan Jamison. This while the Lakers go get Kobe guys like Pau Gasol and Ron Artest. The Cs get Pierce KG and Ray Allen...and the Magic get Dwight Howard Vince Carter...

The Heat havent made it out of the 1st round in years. Now that they add the game's best and most talked about player, they are guaranteed to at least go as far as the Cavs have. Pat Riley will eventually come down from the front office and win his 6th NBA title as head coach.

Kobe is not the MVP of this league. If he were the games best he would be, just like Bird, Magic, & Jordan were when they won titles. Right now, he's one of the best on the best team. But as far as the best in the league, the fans, coaches, and media have voted LeBron the past 2 years, last year overwhelmingly.

This is news how? 95% of stars, especially athletes, are likely to be douches. Kobe's a douche, MJ was DEFINITELY a douche, and Wade was allegedly doing naughty things with Gabrielle Union in front his kids. That makes him a crappy parent. . .and a douche. I don't know how LeBron turning his back on his "hometown" fans makes him any worse than any other douchey superstar.

And on the leading the team thing. . .why? I would imagine that most superstars in this league would choose winning a title over and being the focal point. It's not like he signed with no coaxing, he did barter for Bosh to come to Cleveland, but Bosh didn't want to go to Cleveland (since Cleveland, well, sucks) and he had two of his good friends in his ear about the positives of being in South Beach. I don't remember enough about Jordan, Kobe complained all the time about not getting help after Shaq. He b*tched when the Lakers didn't go after KG (another superstar) when the trade rumors that eventually sent KG to the Cs sprang up, and that was a year after Bryant demanded a trade on the Stephen A. Smith radio show. Do I hold a particular grudge towards him for it? Not really, I dislike the Lakers, though.

This is crazy...I'm arguing with my friend right now on whether this is Wade's team or LeBron's team. I'm for Wade while he's for LeBron. I'm sorry, but LeBron won't EVER past Jordan. That is gone and it's fine. I do think LeBron made a smart decision in order to get rings....just don't really respect him anymore though.
