LeBron James

He's the Alex Ovechkin of the NBA. Great regular season performer, but when it's clutch time he falls apart. Lol @ the excuses.

Even though the Heat couldn't get past Boston this year, you could watch those games and see D Wade fight hard and never give up. Hell, he almost single handedly won a few of them. A true superstar. "This is my house" as he says.

LeBron James? The house went on the market.

You play the game to win championships. It was a no brainer decision. You cant win titles by yourself and Cleveland had plenty of years to get players around him. The Cavs will suck without him. I don't see the fault in someone putting themselves in the best chance to succeed.

I still say that the Miami 3 some blows up at some point. I really didnt care where he played since he isnt playing in Charlotte. If I was him Southbeach would be my choice, not because of Wade and Bosh but just to live in Southbeach a multimillionair. IMO, I think he had a better chance at rings with the Bulls.

lol KT, sounds like U mad

Im estatic. Im happy for LeBron. I would've been mad if he stayed in Cleveland just to take more money. He wants to win at all costs and this is the best situation for him to do that. Anybody out there still think LeBron will never win a ring? Anybody out there that doesnt think its possible LeBron could be MVP again next season?

The Heat havent made it out of the 1st round in years. Now that they add the game's best and most talked about player, they are guaranteed to at least go as far as the Cavs have. Pat Riley will eventually come down from the front office and win his 6th NBA title as head coach.

Exactly. Who are all of these "FEELERS" complaining and calling it inappropriate for LeBron to put himself in the best position to win championships dynastically?

I mean, the Bulls had two of the top 50 players in Jordan and Pippen.

The Celtics had Bird, Parrish, McHale, and Johnson.

The Lakers had Magic, Worthy, Kareem, Scott, Cooper.

The Celtics had Garnett, Pierce, and Allen.

The Lakers had Shaq and Kobe, then Kobe and Gasol.

Tell me one team, other than possibly the 2004 Pistons, that one a championship with ONE star? Arguably, they didn't have a single one on that team. Even Billups at that time was no more of a star than Hamilton or Ben Wallace, but those three guys were considered notable players along with Rasheed Wallace.

People who want LeBron to kill himself to win a championship in his "HOMETOWN" need to get a life. If he wins ONE in Miami, it's as significant in the history books as him winning ONE in Cleveland.

He tried. The organization failed to build a Champion around him.

I took so long to type it out that the convo has died down, but whatever.

LeBron James is a douche. The televised event was total bullcrap.

This is news how? 95% of stars, especially athletes, are likely to be douches. Kobe's a douche, MJ was DEFINITELY a douche, and Wade was allegedly doing naughty things with Gabrielle Union in front his kids. That makes him a crappy parent. . .and a douche. I don't know how LeBron turning his back on his "hometown" fans makes him any worse than any other douchey superstar.

And on the leading the team thing. . .why? I would imagine that most superstars in this league would choose winning a title over and being the focal point. It's not like he signed with no coaxing, he did barter for Bosh to come to Cleveland, but Bosh didn't want to go to Cleveland (since Cleveland, well, sucks) and he had two of his good friends in his ear about the positives of being in South Beach. I don't remember enough about Jordan, Kobe complained all the time about not getting help after Shaq. He b*tched when the Lakers didn't go after KG (another superstar) when the trade rumors that eventually sent KG to the Cs sprang up, and that was a year after Bryant demanded a trade on the Stephen A. Smith radio show. Do I hold a particular grudge towards him for it? Not really, I dislike the Lakers, though.
