LeBron James

A quote from Sportsline made me laugh out loud...

"Don't Fret, Cleveland Sports Fans...Yall landed Jake Delhomme this offseason. Come November you won't even know that the NBA season has started because you'll be preparing for the AFC playoffs."

Lebron's legacy is tarnished.

The man who needed 2 superstars to win a ring.

For real.

A kid born in Akron, Ohio gets the good fortune to be blessed by God with tremendous abilities, gets lucky enough to be drafted by his home town team the Cavaliers, gets them to the brink of winning championships.........

then he QUITS on them. Takes LESS money to go somewhere else where the burden of winning is shared three ways instead of just one.

Just ask yourself if you could ever see Kobe or Jordan doing this. Those guys WANTED to be the focal point of their teams. They wanted that pressure because they could handle it. When Shaq left town, everybody said Kobe was over. He stayed the course, let the team build around him, and now has more rings. He didn't run to the Celtics with KG to win some quick and cheap rings.

Today is the day that Lebron James' career died to me. No recovery for him. I don't care if he wins 10 straight. He's gutless and would rather fade into the background with 3 other stars than stand alone and shine, bringing everybody else up WITH HIM. The greats of the game elevated others to their level. The bitches of the game pushed everybody else down to show how alone they were out there. That's what Bron has been doing in Cleveland for the past few years.

You'll never be Jordan. Hell, you'll never be Kobe.

Larry Bird....Kevin McHale, Robert Parrish, Bill Walton=3 HOFers

Magic Johnson...Kareem Abdul Jabbar, James Worthy=2 HOFers

Michael Jordan...Scottie Pippen=1 HOFer

Kevin Garnett....Ray Allen, Paul Pierce=2 HOFers

Kobe Bryant....Shaquille O'Neal=1 HOFer

Everybody else gets to build their legacy with HOF talent around them and HOF coaching, but people expected The King to do with bums. People are mad now, but win the Heat start winning, the hate will go away and everybody will claim to be "lifelong" Heat fans.

This is different from KG and Ray Allen going to Boston. You are talking about 2 older veterans who were warriors every night for their home team. Going to a team in the latter stage of their career to win a ring.

If LeBron had signed that deal in Cleveland and then at the age of 30 or 31 he went somewhere to win one, this would be comparable. (Assuming he didn't win one in Cleveland)

This is a 25 year old leaving his hometown, because he's simply not good enough to win in Cleveland. Let me ask you. How good was Chicago before Jordan got there? He didn't have to go to another city to win one. Because he is the greatest. LeBron is just another good basketball player. Dwayne Wade is better. Just as talented, but more clutch.

Im' sure Miami will win, but LeBron is retarded.

To be fair, Kobe was on his way out of LA before the Lakers "stole" Gasol from Memphis.
