New NBA team

Shocker

Recommended Posts

I root for Hornets first and foremost.. I will never ever pull for another team based solely off where they play.. I will root for a handful of players around the league though.. I love Russ n PG13.. I have always loved LeBron.. honestly- I can't bring myself to pull for anyone else in the East so it will be a handful of western players/squads

Wish Kemba was goin to LA.. make it easy for me.. I can't see me rooting for Boston.. ugh

This thread is dildos..

I've been rooting for the Bucks because I liked their redesigned uniforms and logo, didnt hurt that they drafted John Henson either ( i root for all teams that have Tar Heels on them) These Hornets are really hard to be a fan of. So over the years Ive just become a players fan and dont really pull for a particular team anymore. i like The Blazers as well because Damian Lillard (That boy can ball) and now Nas. And also prob the team that Kawhi lands on I ll be rooting for as well.

Just give up on the NBA like I did. I used to be the biggest NBA fan. Going to many Hornets/Bobcats games. Even working for the organization. The NBA is rigged. The draft lottery is beyond retarded and seems to screw us every single year. Also we could be a great well ran team but as long as other organizations can buy championships, what's the point? For the past couple of decades it was clear who would win the Finals before the season even started. If not them then one of 2 to 3 other teams

Seriously I absolutely loved the original Hornets back in the day.  Went to games all the time, was there when Zo hit the shot to beat the Celtics etc.  This just isn’t anywhere near that organization or league for that matter.  The old school NBA was amazing with Bird, Dr J, Magic and a much more balanced league.  Today’s NBA sucks.  I might just go the Daddy Uncle route.  Doesn’t feel like the Hornets have any realistic shot at ever winning a title.  Ever.

Bonnell is on Celtic podcasts talking about Kemba's fit with the Celtics and how it impacts both teams.

Really interested in that fit.  Love Kemba but he is a very ball dominant guy so he shot count will certainly go down there.

I will never go to another team but I will probably stop following them closely until we get a real sign of some change. Either through competent drafting and front office moves(which the Bobnets have never had) or a change in ownership. There is really little reason to be a hardcore fan until changes happen. It's just going to be a pile of misery.

    • I don't know about you but I have been a life long Chiefs fan for the past 4 years.
    • Sure there's a ton of transplants in Colorado now. But as far as Denver in particular goes the Broncos have also been around for 65 years. Someone moving to Denver is going to be far more likely to become a fan of the Broncos and even attend games versus someone moving to Charlotte and the Panthers. Like I said it's not just one single thing with us it's multiple factors.
    • He's definitely getting better. It's fun to watch.  I've been getting killed for this take, but with the current state of college football, it just takes more time to develop a quarterback. I don't think it's a plug and play position anymore. I'm really not sure if it ever was. NFL offenses have always been substantially more complex than the college game, and the college game has simplified even more in recent years. Many college teams do not have a physical playbook anymore. That's just not the national football league.  Are there freaks who have success from day 1? Yes, without question. But so many of those guys are runners, and so many of those guys tail off. Is Bryce ever going to be Josh Allen? Probably not.  What I am seeing is a guy with complete command of the offense. He's checking into things at the line, making adjustments, and making timely throws.  He goes to David Moore a ton, because Moore is a consistent route runner. Bryce knows where he is and when he should be open. I think the guy with the "super processor" needs to be comfortable in the offense in order to do the "super processing." He doesn't have elite arm talent, and he is small of stature, but if he makes the smart play consistently, and he's willing to throw the ball downfield and not make mistakes, like he's starting to show, he's going to be a starter for a long time in this league, and it's not a position I'd spend draft capital right now.
