yeah, but a lot of those teams (like Dallas), still had legit back up options for inclement weather.    Even if the teams don't own the facilities, they weren't going to a hotel conference room.

What did Dallas do in inclement weather? I know they had a bubble for a short time that collapsed like 10 years ago inuring some and paralyzing one team employee.

I'm super happy we are building a bubble and new facility. Its' apparent that people make statements without any basis or perspective.

Texas is a big football state.  This is Matt Stafford's high school indoor field.  Cowboys used it.

The fact that an NFL franchise had walk throughs or limited practices in a hotel ballroom because of inclement weather is embarrassing. And I’m sure not very inspiring or motivating for professional athletes much less helpful

And whether it makes a difference or not doesn’t matter, players now know that the owner will do what is needed to get this team into the 21st century.

I've heard rumors about it but never seen any hard evidence of it.  Also, the Panthers have zillions of options available to them in the form of indoor gyms, etc...  If they used a "hotel ballroom" I'm sure it was perfectly adequate.

Happens every year. That was from 2014 where we did it two weeks in a row for an example.

So yes, seems to be an issue and doesn't make the team "soft". Just meant our owner was a chespass and let the team be unprepared on a weekly basis.

It's amazing to me that practically every big college football team has an indoor practice facility, but the Panthers, as well as many other NFL teams, haven't built one yet.

Colleges make massive amounts of money from their football programs that they have to pump back into the university.  NFL pumps money into the owners pockets.  Luckily we have the owner with the deepest pockets....quite the opposite from Jerry who I would think would rank at the very bottom of owner net worth.

Curious, how many losses would you attribute to the lack of a practice dome? 

As far the losses i would say probably 0.  I do agree with Tepper though giving his players the best competitive edge whether minor or major could help.  

Sporting news article from 2014 Google search pops up, and mentions from current articles and photos from the ballroom above.  There's actually film of this that's been shown on the news locally when it happens.  Not going to dig that deep.

It's not that huge of a deal to me personally, but just cool to see everything progress.
