I mean 8-8 is the easiest pick for us and really the most fair.    We're an inconsistent franchise, one that is hard to figure out.    Never had back to back winning seasons, etc.   I wouldn't get upset at anything like this until we've had like 4-5 winning seasons in a row and someone says this about us.   Right now, this is fair.

That 4 game losing streak in December is very unrealistic IF Cam is healthy. Obviously there's reasonable concern that his shoulder won't last the season.  

Until last year, Ron's track record in December was amazing. I really don't expect another end of season collapse.

      I wouldn't be mad if we were losing by 1 or 2 and the games were hard hitting tightly contested games. I'd be frustrated and upset about losing,but I wouldn't be mad.    Right now I'm pissed, Rod's decision making, his system of play, the consistent bad results in the conference finals. Then the team comes out at home and gets plastered 10-2 in the first two games... Yeah I'm mad at the results on the ice

      Man it’s not even about losing to the Panthers again, it’s how they are losing that makes me think a coaching change is needed. Florida is physical, got into the player’s heads, and it’s the coach’s job to get his players ready to play. Brindamour has failed miserably in the Conference Championship 3 times now. The Hurricanes look like they don’t even belong in the playoffs let alone in the conference championship game. If these games were close like in 2023 we’d be frustrated but not embarrassed and that’s the difference in a coach keeping or losing their job.
