Give me a reason to buy Madden 20?

I have a lot more free time on my hands and I want to get back into playing video games. This is for the gameheads. As a guy who hasn't played Madden since my middle school days back in 04, give me a reason why I should purchase this game?

Also which system PS4 or Xbox 1?

lol I wish they never got rid of the 2k series. It would be the top selling sports game in America if 2k ever made a comeback to the NFL.

05 was it's peak. Shout out to (what I believe was) 07 that had the lead blocker control. They're so clunky now it's laughable.

The graphics keep improving but the actual game play keeps declining.

I've bought it every year nearly, and I assure you it is always pretty much trash. Probably will buy it this year too. Shame on me.

buy 2018 for a couple bucks and see if you want the "upgrade" or not.

 

I tried to get back in gaming found out real quick that I maybe one of worst current players, no bs. Im pure trash at using 17 buttons each game.

I bought 19 after not playing for a while and was really pissed. Gameplay is just so bad, 10+ year old games still play better to this day. Wouldn't recommend buying 20.

In 05, Singleback set with Smith in the slot running a corner route is in my opinion the most overpowered play in the history of Madden. Either Smith catches it for a 25+ yard gain or a TD. The only time I've seen it stopped is when my opponent took control of the corner or safety.

I played Madden a few years ago, but I think they really killed the fun of it by introducing 'cards' that you can purchase.  It's really a pay to win game now if you play multiplayer, which is really unfortunate.   If you like single player mode, I guess it's alright.
