I so long for draft time and then we "pick best player available". We never pick a need at a position with the ability as a coaching staff to improve drafted player. No matter what round we take said player in. Dan Conner for example, still playing special teams. Mike Goodson, good hands, proved it numous times at A&M, not one pass.

I say convert goodson over to WR. not only does he catch like a wide-out but he fumbles like one too. plus he's fast and a playmaker. might take some pressure of steve.

I'm only suggesting this because it works in madden, and as you all know, if it can happen in madden, it must be true.

I would like the idea of getting Harris in at DT next season, I just question what it takes to get him. We have no 1st and if we trade our 2nd it needs to go for a QB, which is our biggest problem area.

If we can put together some other type of package for him it would be great, but the main priority will be QB escpecially if there are changes with the HC and GM. No other coach would want to come in here with Jake/Moore/Feely/McCown as their QB.

If it came down to Harris or a QB we should make the moves for the QB and stick with the DTs we have under contract for 2010.

Keep in mind we also NEED to resign Thomas Davis this offseason which will have a big impact on what other moves we make on the D.

I want a QB that can come in and start from day one. The only way that is going to happen is if Fox is G-O-N-E. So first order of business is get rid of the enabler...aka John Fox.

i would prefer that we pick up 2 qb's in the draft. i know it never happens but i would like to something like the way we addressed the cb position this year. pick a second rounder and then a late rounder, and if the late rounder out plays the 2nd rounder so be it. i doubt they will do it that way but i think it would be smart. anything elso you can get free agents and pay them well as there is no cap.
