Lakers making Kemba #1 target

This team is about to get Real ugly

Imagine if we trade up in this draft (like Kup said he's trying to do)  for a project guy like Hayes or Sekou Doumboya who its rumored we like.  Giving up potentially future picks considering we dont have any value on the roster to give up to move other than Bridges.

Then if we lose Kemba too.

Its about to get real ugly folks. MJ is sighing a huge sigh of relief the All-Star game was here this year vs next.  Because this city is about to lose about any interest in this team and game that they have

If they trade up and take Hayes they are fuggin stupid.  Man, it is pretty amazing how bad the front office has been here.  Like forever.

Letting Kemba walk now for nothing would be the worst display of team management you can have.  Unfuggin forgivable

Hayes wont make it past Washington.  And Atlanta like him so they will most likely target him at 8

And we seem to really like him.  Thats who people think he will try to trade up for

I guess we will see, without Kemba we almost have to go get a PG in FA.  Not sure I can pull for this team if they let Kemba walk.

Problem is, as theyve brought up this week on WFNZ.  If they have to grab a PG, they are going to have to Jump Chicago and get into the top 6.

We dont have anything to offer to move up that far.  There is litterally nothing.  About the only thing that would tempt teams for us to move that far would be Monk/Bacon, Bridges, and atleast a future 1st.

Imagine trading up for Coby White but losing Bacon, Bridges and next years 1st.  We will be setback for about 3 years atleast

Don't even know if he would qualify or if it works out, but a sign and trade sending Kemba and 12 to the Lakers for 4 would be amazing.  LA is guaranteed their guy, Hornets move up, LA still gets a rotation guy at 12.

Lakers sent 4 to the Pelicans

    • I find it more like now that I have been forced to watch Young so much it isn’t as much of a shock to my senses.   Desensitized they call it.   For real, it just looks normal almost now. Where the first game of 2023 I wasn’t sure what I was looking at it was so out of bounds for NFL type play. I literally couldn’t make sense of what I had seen vs Atlanta that first week.
    • Lynch in SF. Great is subjective but he has done pretty well there.
    • Sure, except Stroud has the ability to stretch the field with deep passes. He did that often last night with ease, but couldn’t connect on many due to being flustered by the defense. BY9 gets flustered and can’t throw screens, let alone even think about any deeper passes. Stroud would’ve changed the franchise and done more with the situation last year. My thought at least.    the hope is that last year showed tepper that he needed to step back from football decisions. There’s a positive in most situations and maybe we’ll see a new tepper in the near future.
