Sadly, setting up for the Lakers new team (if they pull AD off), to take over the West.  The Jazz, Nuggets, Rockets, maybe even the Clippers if Kawhi goes there, etc. won't be able to topple LBJ, AD, and someone like Butler. 

If AD gets dealt somewhere other than LA though, the entire league might be wide open.

Or they could resign KD then let the team take the year off, score a high draft pick and rule the west for 2-3 more years afterwards.

You are seriously underrating the raptors here.  They would be in this series regardless.  Tough team with good shooting and fundamentals.  Kawai is amazing but they were more than just him.  I hate these “well if he was healthy” things.  Gotta live in reality.  The Warriors have played a ton of games throughout this run and it caught up with them.  Unbeatable doesn’t exist.
