Fox Said......

Well, it could be, that he's saying the party line so that the Cards prepare for Delhomme.

Of course, with our offense, how much prep is needed.

I just watched NFL Network, total access, and the film clearly showed Delhomme on all 3 interceptions missing the window of where the ball was catchable, he could not hit it with a shotgun.

I dont' know what Fox will do; but, one thing is certain, if he starts Delhomme and Delhomme sucks, there will be no Panthers fans to speak of at BofA for the rest of the year; except maybe the Dec 20th game to see Brett Farve and that is really sad.

Its a disservice to the other 51 players.

Regardless, I believe Fox is finished here. As for drafting a QB, I've said that on here for 4 years and, like others who said it, was royally called down for it...'we don't need a QB we need blah blah blah.

The bottom-line, in the NFL, if a team doesn't have a QB, who at a minimum, doesn't hurt the team, and can hit that passing window, at leat 50% of the time, a team has nothing.

Don't even mention Dilfer, he knew his place, and he didn't have 15+ turnovers in the first 6 games.

how long have we known Fox? He isn't playing games...it is a road game so that dumbass simply thinks he can get away w/ starting Jake one more time.

the Sirius stuff is pratically staged and that is why Fox talks a little more freely than in press conferences w/ other media. Those guys on Sirius NFL love Fox and will push whatever talking point Fox wants to make in the direction he wants it to go....and say what Fox believes...so he can simply agree with it......that way he doesn't look so stupid.

It is now 100% certain Fox plays Jake. He will be on a leash...and when Jake throws the game away and after the outcome has been decided he will put in a backup and then have whichever one looks best in garbage time start the next game. Why would Fox do that knowing the result? B/c he has proven he isn't all that bright when it comes to his players.....and despite making mistakes over and over....he will continue them.

Fox keeps saying Jake gives them the best chance to win. That is probably true. He has higher ceiling for success if he actually had a great game....Jake also is most likely to sabotage the game...no other QB on the roster imo is even close to having a low as low as Jake. Fox needs a QB to play Foxball......the best QB for that isn't Jake. Fox is asking himself the wrong question...who is most likely to make them lose is the question he should ask himself.

A question for you Mr Fox...

I you do not want to play Moore or Feeley because they have not proven anything is this league, why are they on the roster? You do know that they will have a hard time proving anything on the bench coach?

Fox is a moron. Let him go.

Bingo.

If Moore and Feeley are not capable, why are they on the roster...who put them there...who signed off on them....who owns the personnel decisions.

He gives us the best chance to win!!? Really? What's our record again? I remember hearing on NFL Network that Delhomme is on pace to be the worst QB ever or something like that...and he gives us the best chance to win?!

If he wants to keep his job, he would do something about this. But hey, this is Fox's ticket out of here, which is fine by me.

sigh...

Some of you say Matt Moore ain't no good but yet you have not seen him play that much. And in the the 3 games he played in 2007 when Jake got hurt. Moore went 2-1 as starter. How can fox Judge a guy like Moore until he has played some. If fox has that kind of Judgement as a HC right now. Then Fox needs to move on to another team. Because he is currently making dumb moves for this teams future. All he cares about is giving a washed up QB like Jake all the chances he want to start despite wheather he plays crappy are not. Fox is done with team after this season. Face facts.

I don't have any confidence in Jake. I expect at least 2 interceptions in the AZ game. Even if he has a good game, I'll expect the next game to be terrible. I, in no way, ever expect to go to the SB again with Jake, or even make the playoffs for that matter. Start Moore. If he's terrible, then we know we need to find a starting QB.

Start Moore. Even if he's not terrible, we know we still need to find a starting QB.

Fixed that for ya.

As to the original post topic, I caught a little bit of the Panther call in show on 101.1 FM last night (right before Captain came on). According to Fox....

"Jake truly is the best option that the team has at quarter back and I see little reason to believe otherwise."
