Why are you acting pretentious? He didn’t understand your point cause you either articulated it incredibly poorly, or you moved the goalposts. He responded to your original claim that Shula never attempted, at any point in the game, to counter the pass rush from Miller...with “well, he did attempt to counter it, just extremely poorly” and provided an article to support that. Then you spent your entire post asserting the claim he already made, that Shula did indeed do a poor job attempting to counter the pass rush.

I'm sorry, was anyone talking to you? Are you his personal white knight?

One question? How many snaps has Grier taken in an NFL game  (including preseason)?  Perhaps we should wait to judge his readiness to be the backup until he has actually played against other team's players. At least Heinicke and Allen have actually played in the league.

Lol. By the way, point to the strip sack for a TD. Remmers had no help. Tolbert of all people appeared to be lined up at TE and went on a route in the middle and never touched Miller. Chris Collinsworth did a segment at halftime in week 1 of 2016 and how well Remmers was doing against Miller (he was) because of schemes and help and then oops second half back to Super Bowl plan and we lose.

I think that we all agree that Shula didn't do a very job due to his lack of creativity. He wasn't the only one that failed to do his job though, as pointed out by the article. He may have been the main one, but he is not the only one. He didn't idly stand by and do nothing though. He was just not as adaptive and got caught up in the headlights. But for a few plays here or there or better execution, we still had a chance. No one dug really deep (on offense)!

Whoops did I accidentally hack my way into your DMs? Damn, sorry dude...I don’t know how that keeps happening.

You inadvertently involve all of us when you subject us to your silly little nonsensical talking points on a public discussion board (I highlighted the operative word for you).
