Why I think Delhomme is going to start

I think J Fox is going to give Delhomme the chance to get the Cardinal monkey off his back. It all started last year with the Cards. If he can do well this game, Delhomme may get his MoJo back enough to finish out the season .

but if Bad jake appears in the first half, I expect to see someone new in the qb slot the 2nd half and more than likely for the rest of the season.

I think this is the most likely scenario for game time on Sunday.

dude, it didn't start last year with the cardinals. it started last year with the raiders and i've already made the call yesterday for pulling him in the second half.

I think either one of two things happened in the private Fox/Delhomme meeting yesterday. Either Jake admitted he is such a liability to the team that he needed some time to think about it and get better while giving someone else a chance, or begged to get one last chance against Arizona. Knowing Fox, he'll give Jake that chance, even if it means we lose.

Dude this isn't hollywood. It isn't some Broadway screen play. This isn't the dark knight's valiant opportunity to revenge against the evildoers who once reaped him of his soul. This is a business, and if you don't produce, you don't get poo. Cut and dry.

a half of footbal is too long....Jake will already have the team in a hole. Then Fox will claim the guy comes in to replace Jake couldn't do much better. Well, it is hard to have success when you come into a game that has already been sabotaged. Fox knows it. Everyone knows it. Carolina needs a coach. Fox isn't being a coach. Fox is doing what he thinks to be the right thing based on someone history and relastionship to the organization.

Fox is really braindead. He continues to push Jake and knock his other guys. No coach would tell the media he isn't really confident in backups after watching Jake perform. You would say you hope they can come in and do the job. Even if you aren't that confident of an unknown...you don't throw them under the bus simply b/c you made a poor decision in recognizing what Jake is now....and the time has come for you to admit you stuck w/ him too long.
