I was told to play Sweet Caroline since before I started, just like the TD song. If I had my way we would play "All I do is win". I made the intro loop because that is what they wanted and still wanted. But now, new rules so it's gonna be exciting. I DJ multiple events all over Charlotte and its very diverse. I've polled fans at games, had people text me requests and they are all over the place. EDM house is huge. Mash ups are in. 90's hip hop and early 2000's is the biggest request along some good 80's classic rock. What % IDK. 

I think everyone knew who was ultimately calling the shots under the old ownership including the music.

Plus you're never going to please everyone. I've been a PSL owner for close to 15 years, and there are people at the games from 8 to 80 literally, so that is an incredibly large range of musical tastes to try to cater to.

I'm pretty open to any type of music being played, but as a parent, I don't want music with profanity.  That's my only non-starter. I'm ok with risque stuff as long as it's edited.

I certainly fall into the crowd that would like 90s and early 2000s hip hop and rock as well as classic rock, but I'm not going to complain about a wide variety of music being played.

I do like the idea of playing music the players want during warmups as long as it's not explicit. Anything to get them pumped up serves the same purpose for the fans.

And like most fans, I am tired beyond belief of Sweet Caroline.

Love the music as is, but perhaps Tepper and the media can change it up a bit....and take Panthers' fans recommendations into consideration!  I have to admit it is very nice with what Panthers' Media has done since Tepper took over!  Much increased creativity and better quality!  Loving it! I think Caroline Cann was a great addition!

I've got two suggestions. One is Ozzy's Ultimate Sin intro and the other is a new Tool song called Invincible.

The drums and guitar in Ulitmate Sin are really good for an tinro, but it's pretty short.

 

 

This new Tool song has lots of areas that can be sampled.  The intro is pretty good, but it's the instumental section later in the song that I think would work, from 9:00-10:45.  Tool is a band that older rockers like me can still dig and is still relevant evidence by a new release.

Remember how disappointing it was back in 2006/07 or so to find a video titled "Panthers highlights" or something similar on YouTube but when you watched it it was just a slideshow set to POD's "Boom".

Seems that these Huddlers don't care for Sweet Caroline. I do. Everyone I know does. Have only missed a few games in 22 years and hearing that song played means we won. We won! Everyone is singing it! Takes fans back to the very beginning of the franchise when winning was pure joy, almost unexpected, and not a matter of statistics. It has a history with the Panthers and needs to be played after every win.

The one I can't stand is the fight song that the Panthers ripped off from Clemson.  Firstly, I'm not a Clemson fan and I think when you have such a unimaginative fight song that interactive part is spelling out the mascot by each letter...it's extremely lame. P-A-N-T-H-E-Rrrrr-S....so lame.  That's the one thing if I had a vote to get scrapped would be at the top of my list.  Fight songs are for college football anyway. Even the few pro teams that have them are stupid.  Do you see how moronic Eagles fans look when they do the "Fly Eagles Fly" song?  It literally looks like a stadium full of Forrest Gumps.  Dump the Panthers fight song and no need to even replace it.

It does have its nostalgic value.  So does 'Boom, Boom, Boom' when we score a TD.  If given a choice to keep only one, I'm not sure which one I would want to stay.  I guess I would keep 'Sweet Caroline', for two reasons: the name in the title and mostly everyone sings along.  Oh and as previously mentioned, it means we won.
