Impossible to critique players that were drafted and just recently signed contracts and haven't even played one down yet. Cannot be done.

You must wonder a lot to start a thread on a draft pick in June when nothing new has happened since it was discussed constantly after he was picked.

And allowing him to be a standup OLB edge rusher.  Absolutely LOVE this pick.

A. Hasnt watched film on him

B. Doesnt know how standup 3-4 OLBs work and play and built

Random time to ask that question. 

 

If Brian Burns was brought up today, I was thinking it would be more about how much of a threat he’s going to be now that our interior line will get more push with Poe Short and McCoy up the middle to make Burns job easier.

"I love this time of the year. Playing a physical game and just trying to do everything I can to help my team win the game." And Svechnikov is doing a lot to help his team win. The Russian winger leads the team in goals (4), points (5), shots on goal (13) and is one of eight players with double-digit hits (11). He also leads all forwards in total chances while he's on the ice (82) and Corsi For (67.21%), expected goals for (70.03%), high-danger chances (20) and has yet to be on the ice for a goal against.
