yeah whos on the team for what 2-3 years?

and doesn't know the plays when he started a few times. That dude had no idea what hes talking about matt moore can read a goddamn playbook. How far are these jake lovers going to go?

I believe he was referring to Morgan's quote on the radio this am, that Moore may not have the whole playbook down.

Do you realize how many more games jake has under his belt? haha for an undrafted rookie he looked pretty good, those double coverage throws will only get better with playing time, do you realize that we should have more rushing yards then passing because we are a power running team, playing against another power running team, just let it go, its Moore's turn to prove the critics and somehow still jake lovers wrong

Don't get me wrong I want Moore over Jake as much as anyone right now. I just think that is why he would make the playbook comment. As another poster said, I would be fine if Moore just said in the huddle "Hey if there are a bunch of guys up on the line, go out for a pass and turn around in 2.5 seconds, but if they drop back I will hand it off."

If we would only run the ball. I heard some caller this am on wfnz say he looked through all games since 2005 and we are like 30-1 or somthing when we run more then pass, and 13-35 I think if we pass more then run.

Can we just run the d@mn ball....

how many plays could there be... 30, maybe 40. Lets see, run right, run left, run up the middle, overthrow to smitty, fumble, interception, and oh, I almost for got, the smoke route.....:(

he's not ready to start:rolleyes: He can't read the playbook, oh wait wasn't that the excuse for Colbert, and Jarrett at one time as well as Matt Moore now. Kinda a recurring EXCUSE huh? Anytime a player underacheives here it's automatically the player cant read a playbook, i think its the coaches don't know how to groom talent....

BTW, you dont make that throw to Rosario in the vid and not have some skill...beats ol pick 6 anyday.

Sorry. It's illegal to look the safety off isn't it?

What I like is in the third vid, he makes three quick reads in his progression, then lets the ball fly to Rosario. It was accurate, on time, and Dante could run after the catch, which is something that we've been missing for some time now.

Hate him as much as you want, he's outperformed Jake in those aspects in live games so far. Will he come in and light it up? Who really knows til he gets a shot to try, but he's at least pocket aware, and looks comfortable being in there. "Deer-in-the-headlights" does nothing for me guys.. sorry.

Do you people realize that game Tampa sat half their starting lineup in that game? They had a playoff game the following week and didn't want to risk an injury. You do realize we had more rushing yards than passing yards in that game? You do realize he threw one pick, and it should have been one or two more cause he threw into double coverage a few times just like Jake? Child please!

oh im sorry i wasn't talking about our WRs beating tampas safetys

i just pointed out the nice passes coming off the hands of matt moore

and dont we always have more running yards then passing i mean come on we got jake as a qb and look at our RBs

anyways matt is obviously better then jake at this point

Does Matt not understand the nuances or comprehend what can be written on an armband play cheatsheet?

The whole "not knowing the play" horsecrap response would be an extreme testament to how SUCKY our QB coach and OC would be. Just making that statement would assume our system is so completely ignorant. So ignorant they would all need to be fired and start over.

Ok, you are truly excited about him beating a team who sat players, didn't need to win, and he threw one int, and should have threw one more for a fact, possibly two if the starters were in?

that's a rumor that's spread by someone not on the team. The integrity can be debated. Rumors are not meant to be passed around as the truth but more as words of caution.

what about the 2 games before that. He beat Seattle. He outplayed Hasselbeck. He stood tall against what was then the #1 pass rush in the nfl, leading the nfl in sacks. He played Dallas and made them sweat. We had a legit shot at beating Dallas. I don't know if you remember the OBVIOUS missed pass interference call. nfl.com videos even included it in the highlights. Matt Moore was poised to win all 3 games regardless of who 1 team was starting. Considering our defense didn't play well against Tampa either, he played well enough to win. And After his INT he was good enough to not make anymore mistakes.
