Where you read that at

Kurt may or may not be "trash", but this is the part of the article that scared the bejesus out of me......

As of now, however, the Panthers seem committed to their existing safeties: Behind Gaulden, other candidates to potentially earn playing time include special teams captain Colin Jones, Cole Luke, Kai Nacua, Damian Parms, and undrafted rookie Corrion Ballard.

Who else should we be committed to?

that list is full of practice squad players and our ST ace who is a disaster in coverage whenever asked to fill in, for years.   Gaulden is getting a big build up this offseason and may be the answer but there are other safeties to bring in and push the guy in training camp.   I don't have a problem with Coleman being a candidate and proving it in TC and Boston is in the same category.

Tre Boston wants 10m+ a year.  That is under a category called "LOLno". Tre Boston isn't looking to prove anything.  He feels he already has and deserves top pay.

I don't see Coleman improving our FS position.

I would seriously rather sign Mike Mitchell. He looked good last year in his time with Indy. And still has the athleticism to cover some ground.

we lost a lot after 2013 but honestly he was the biggest loss. wasnt even a superstar player he just gave our defense a different edge. wish Gettleman wasnt such a cheap ass

edit - sorry Gross was our biggest loss, the disaster of having Thomas Decoud and Roman Harper at safety wasnt nearly as bad as seeing Byron Bell and Nate Chandler at tackle

If that is the case I am with you on a solid "hell no".  But where did you read that?  Reid signed for 3/22, why would Boston expect that kind of a $10m+ payday?  especially in June?

Quote

Boston was on SiriusXM NFL Radio and said that he believes his play warrants the same kind of contracts that players like Adrian Amos and Lamarcus Joyner received from the Packers and Raiders this offseason.

Joyner is 10.5/year.
