Like to see them move Jackson to nickel and give him the authority to jump routes.  Standing out by Luke diagnosing plays he is a pick six waiting to happen. If we’re going to the playoffs, we’ll have to create many more turnovers than last year.

As long as Corn Elder is not on the field, I dont care who we play there. He was the worst player I've seen us field in years.

Zach Sanchez gets that title... followed by Worley tied with Corn... I'm not ready to give up on him yet though.

If Ross is healthy and playing with full confidence again we are actually in pretty good shape... not to forget Doss and Seymour.

Even that said, I still expect us to pick up a CB and FS after cuts lol

I'd love to see us run more match up coverage this year, whether it's in the form of man coverage or match up zone. Especially with the Bradbury/Jackson combo. Bradbury excels against bigger WRs where Jackson has the speed to match up with the burners, but at the same time, if you play those guys as pure LCB/RCB it's pretty easy for the opposition to create match up problems for us.

Amen! Especially with regards to Bradberry. He excels when he plays physical and close to the WR at the snap. Yet we continued to line him up 10 yds off, with outside leverage and no safety help in the middle. No CB is going to be successful in that scenario.

But with our current Safeties, I’m not sure they are good enough in coverage to allow us to take chances with our CBs. Which is the real issue.

Seriously? Dude was as bad as Worley when he got a ton of playing time in 2017. Also, in last year’s preseason he may have had one of the worst games by a CB that I have ever seen including our early 2016 games.

I apologize for my tone but I honestly thought Worley wasn’t even as bad as Seymour.

Worley is actually starting for another team, for now. The last we saw Seymour was KBs preseason Super Bowl quarter.

My favorite kind of player. Much better than watching talented players who lack passion.

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.

I've heard a few other things about him, he has a GREAT CB mentality. He will not break even after he gives up multiple big plays. Just a great pro- practices very hard but not rough, film nut, a leader in the locker room.

It’s good to hear his healthy again. Thought he was a good signing last year. From his time with the Steelers, the best way I can describe him is solid. He can fill a big hole. Even with him, the CB depth is not good. Without him we are in trouble.

I agree that even with him the depth is not great, but it is no worse and still probably better than most of the CB groups we have had under Rivera.

Is Seymour is healthy, he can still contribute I think. I know the lasting image of him last year was him getting beat in the preseason by KB, but he still has played some at a reasonable level.

I guess we are still holding out hope for Corn Elder as the potential 5th CB, but unless he drastically improves, that seems like a nonstarter. I'm honestly not even sure if Cole Luke is a viable option, but even having to contemplate that isnt ideal.

Having Seymour, Elder, and Luke as our depth doesn't inspire a lot of confidence, and I hope some other guys can step up.

Still, having a healthy Bradberry, Jackson, and Cockrell would make for a decent starting group. Need to hope for health

"Starting" means nothing. Good lord just look at some of the trash we've started over the years, Worley included.
