How do we know KB really signed it? Is there chocolate stains or ketchup and mustard on it?

The thing is

Just because a team has that mich more $$ doesnt mean they are going to throw him 13-15 mil jist becaus they can.  They will still give what they think the market will be.

Just because we may offer around 10, doesnt mean Baltimore and Cleveland will just throw 14 out for him.  theyll throw around the 10 mark as well because thats what the league see's his market price.  Look at Suh for example

McCoy > Suh and has been for a while.  Suh has a bad reputation and signed for only $3 million less than McCoy was making in Tampa, not to mentions he has turned into an adequate starter/journeyman here of late.  McCoy's only issue has been durability. It's already been thrown out there that McCoy wants a bidding war, so while $14 million annually is not a crazy amount of money, it's probably more than the Panthers would offer.  So the question begs, would he will to go to the Browns for say $8-$10 million over the life of the contract?  Baltimore doesn't normally get crazy with their contracts, so I'm pretty comfortable we will not get seriously outbid by them.

I wouldnt be so easily to say Suh isnt as good as McCoy.  Suh was one of the better interior DL in the league last year, and only reason he didnt get as much hype was because he was lined beside Donald.

Yes he is making 3 mil less than what McCoy was just making.  But again McCoy was on a big deal (kind of like Norman up in Washington, though his play hasnt quite dropped off that much)

Of course he wants a bidding war, every player wants a bidding war.  Thats drives his price tag.  But its not going to be one team throws 10,then the other offers 13, than the other 15.  Itll all be around the 10 range which his market is at considering his age and play.
