In the olden days, the Panthers would not let someone they really wanted leave while not under contract.

Cut Torrey and Butler.

Sign McCoy and another safety.

Call it a day.

Even if we just get McCoy and dont sign a safety ill be estatic

Give me
KK,Poe, McCoy
Burns, Luke, Shaq, Irvin
Bradberry, Reid, Gaulden, Jackson

Im one of the biggest doubters of Gaulden, but everything iv read and heard.  Im not too worried, and dont believe he will be Nakamura or any of Hurneys former Safeties.
all of Rivera's successful defenses have had strong front 7s, while there has been plenty good Rivera defense's with avg Saftey play.  His defenses revolve around stromg front 7 play.  If we can get that and at least jist avg Safety play.  The defense will pull a complete 180 and be like the 2013-2015 panthers defenses

Take a pay cut or just retire. Because he sucks ass!

I do like Smith as a locker room presence with these young WR.  But no way shoupd take the field.  I wouldnt be so quick to cut him

UNLESS a Stud Starter calibre impact player comes around.  And thats a McCoy.  Id tell Smith, look this is about the team and improving it.   Unless he is willing to take a pay cut to grab McCoy, we will be parting ways and thanks for your short time here

don't know if all of you saw in another thread that Torrey tweeted "decisions decisions" a day or two ago....could be related.

Definitely related. I feel like the Panthers kept Torrey Smith around long enough to cut him if they had someone better they wanted to sign. Welp that day is here.

I have some insider info on this. And he’s going to ask for way too much money. So unless he makes concessions I highly doubt it.

More sources, I love it!

It was actually just really weird happenstance. But I wouldn’t think it would be an issue to share it in Allpro.

I’m not saying he won’t make concessions but I know his starting area is way out of our ballpark currently.

Pay him what he wants then cut Poe next year

    • Never underestimate how dumb our owner is.
    • people out here crapping on front office decisions and then propose we get daniel jones to save us. incredible.
    • I don't agree the offensive players were his choice, when his head coach has a total offensive background and given the situation. I view it like... FA, Morgan's job on Offensive guys was probably the nuts and bolts, the mechanics of making the trade or deal or signing happen. Seeing if we could swing it, having discussions about it with Canales, Tilis, and Tepper too no doubt.  He would have done the wheeling and dealing and turning the cards in to make those things happen. But would you ask him or would you ask Canales who is building the offense, to choose offensive players? I mean, Canales all the way for me. Defensive players, Canales probably wouldn't overrule Morgan. Now, it was apparent that he was indulging Evero on some of those acquisitions. But isn't he sort of supposed to collaborate with the coaches in charge of that side of the ball?  Wallace looked not too great yesterday but he was really thrown into a raging fire, so I am not out on him. But I was irritated and dismayed at his seeming lack of disappointment in the loss when I saw his postgame locker room minutes.  I need to see things with Young out of the picture and not influencing every fuging decision.
