Gerald McCoy visiting today!

I will say this--IF.

IF we sign McCoy, and IF Burns turns out to be good, we will have a great front 7.  McCoy demands OL attention, as does KK.  Our biggest concern will be NT. McCoy has averaged about 7 sacks per year over the past 3 seasons; combine that with Short's numbers, add a few speed rushers, OH MY.  While I am not sure McCoy at 31 is worth more than $8m, we seem to be willing to sign a check.

IF we have a great front 7, our secondary will be much better.

Our secondary will be much better because:

A.  Jackson is no longer a rookie

B. Reid will be playing his natural position

C. Cockrell is back and much better than Capt.

D. Bradberry could rise from good to elite with this kind of support.

Gaulden / FS is the key, but last year, we had 2 SS playing S (one about 37), a terrible nickel, and a rookie outside CB.  We are upgraded.

The Wire and Breaking Bad are 1a and 1b to me. I can't pick one over the other. Both are masterpieces start to finish. It's like asking me to pick a favorite child.

No love for Orange is the New Black?

If we're being honest, it's easy to pick a favorite child.  You just don't do it out loud.

Not even in the same stratosphere to me personally.

It goes:

  • Wire/Breaking Bad
  • Better Call Saul (so far)
  • The Expanse (so far)
  • The Sopranos
  • GOT (Was a contender for top series ever until these last two seasons)
