You’re getting offended because I’m saying Gaulden did not test well. It’s one thing if he was middle of the pack. But he’s at the bottom of almost every category for his position. He’s slow and weak compared to his peers that play DB.

I just don’t know what your point is other than saying the combine means nothing. They do position specific drills as well don’t forget.

Why the F do they have the combine every year? Lol I mean come on. It allows teams to evaluate physical ability of the best players in the country. It does matter lol. Kuechly is a HOF caliber player because he’s got the mental and physical gifts that rarely come around. The absolute best players have freakish measurables. They can do things normal guys can’t

No I am not saying his measureables were good at all. In fact they were pretty dismal. I am saying the measureables aren't the most important thing. Some players train for the combine while others don't. Some guys drop 20 lbs to run at the combine. When they actually play they will have those 20 lbs back. So is that an accurate number. When do you even run around cones in a game? If you practice it you can get better at it. But that won't make you better on the field. Why don't all track guys play football?  Because football is a contact sport and track isn't. Why don't gymnasts who would likely excel in all these drills not play?  They are small and couldn't catch the ball. The combine is a television Bonanza set up to keep the NFL relevant in the off-season. The combine usually elevates guys who are unknown or from smaller schools. But it doesn't necessarily hurt you. Because the work has already been done. They have watched players for two years and watched endless film. Sure the combine counts but not so that you would put too much emphasis on it as you are. You think Kuechly's combine made a difference? Well before that I was telling people he was the best linebacker in college and might be the best  defensive player in the draft. I didn't need the combine to tell me he was going to be a great player. If I can tell that, imagine how a trained scout doesn't need a combine to know how good a player will be. And news bulletin,  They measure playing speed while they watch the game wearing full pads going against an opponent. The only speed that matters.

P55 is the new old version of Mr. Scott.

That would be a compliment. For as much as I didn't agree with some of his conclusions, he is one of the most football savvy posters  on here. Don't know he'd agree with the comparison, though....

Lol. Let me reply just because I want to see what you come back with next. I know there’s no way you can resist since you obviously aren’t going anywhere due to everything you bring to the table. I’m almost anticipating I know you are but what am I or an I’m rubber your glue. Waiting with bated breath.

Stop being annoying.

I like you but this might be this is the most delusional statement you've made

oh look another argument with someone who was nice enough to admit that he likes you

Obviously you don't know the difference between a discussion and argument. You must either be terribly  thin-skinned or can't stand someone disagreeing with you. This is a discussion board where dissenting opinions are welcome.
