   Lambert, Carson, Urlacher, Singletary, and Willis are all worthy of top 5 consideration. But I feel Luke has already surpassed them. None were the complete package Luke is. Only Lewis was, And the only way to catch him is longevity. I think both are the best MLBs I’ve ever seen. 

  

Man Willis was a monster. He would be rivaling Luke right now had he kept playing.

Beason made one 1st and one 2nd team thru the same time period. Beason had basically a 4 year career. 

 Willis played eight and made the pro bowl every year but his last. 

  That’s not a small difference.

Not sure if you can compare Luke to LT. LT only had nine Int’s his whole career vs the 16 Luke already has. Seems they aren’t used the same way, LT was more of a rushing LB while Luke stays back more.

Lewis is of course top 3, with Urlacher, Butkus, Singletary and Willis in the conversation. 

I don’t think any of these guys were known for calling out the oppositions plays like Luke does, that in itself makes him top 5.

Hard not to. If I wasn’t a Cam-wagon fan(established 2011...lol)  I’m sure I would have a slightly different view. I never got to see the real Beason for entire games as he wasn’t the same by then.

I started watching NFL in 2004 (missed the SB run) but man this franchise has been good at finding LB's. Going from Morgan to Beason to Luke. Cannot get any better than that. 

Beason IMO was a real special player but injuries caught up to him.

I didnt say with the Pats. I said with BB as HC. With the weapons he had in Indy, I could easily see 7 or 8 rings.

If he couldn't win with that talent and the coaching he had in Indy, Billy Boy wouldn't have made that big of a difference. Nevermind the fact that you have Kraft who basically handed Bill the reigns to all team operations matters and he may not have had that freedom in Indy.

only ILB I have above Luke is Ray Lewis. 

Career longevity and persona probably means Luke doesn't jump him but #2 all time wouldn't be bad slot.  But in terms of pure play at ILB? Hard to say anyone has done that better.
