So AEW kicked off with a freaking bang. Moxley stole the show for me but Kenny Omega is every bit as good as billed. 

The fact that this felt like the wrestling I grew up with helps, and that isn't just because of Jim Ross doing commentary, is a good sign for me. The production looked and sounded like exactly what I expect out of a wrestling show and the storytelling in the ring was just light-years beyond WWE right now..

And the cringe of the first Raw segment makes me hate WWE.

Weird entrance from Shane only to walk back behind the curtain again is just confusing. They've not timed commercials well so far this show. They just sort of happen, like this one here. 

Really want to see what they start doing to counter what AEW pulled off with Double or Nothing.

Jesus this promo is meh. 

Shane is the WWE equivalent to Trump in terms of speaking. "I have known all the greats. They're all great. I'm better, some would say the best". 
 

And the "this is boring" chants towards the end of the promo take over.


EDIT: They came back from commercial for a very awkward 3 minute promo with no passion or emotion at all from Shane and then cut to commercial after he concludes said promo and issues a challenge to a Samoan? WTF are they even doing at this point?

And a cheap squash match. Nothing compelling. Just a build up for Shane v Roman Reigns. Meh. Mostly annoyed that the last 30 minutes was mostly commercials and a bad promo.

Lol this is bad. A pointless promo where Brock, who has been around the WWE for a very long time, has to pretend he doesn't understand how Money in the Bank works. Then leaves the ring, leaving the crowd with blue balls. Jesus.


R Truth sighting! 24/7 title gets a small 30 second plug. 

Whoever the hell the female announcer is is just annoying. I hate her voice. Whoever is interviewing here needs to take that job, because I can stand her voice.

AJ Styles gives a decent interview. Still feels a bit forced. AJ is better than this entire company. Corbin coming in with a single kick is just meh. Heels used to be tenacious and ruthless. Now they're just rude? Maybe Becky can save this show.
