CNBC Report: Tepper Concentrating on Panthers

With Tepper focusing on the Panthers full time it is likely he will be more involved not less involved in daily activities. Now whether that means getting more involved in football decisions or leaving it to the "football people" remains to be seen. But to expect someone to.pay 2.2 billion for a business and then not be involved in ever aspect of the business seems pretty unrealistic. And as a previous minority owner he has lots of experience being associated with football guys and decisions.

At this point I rather tepper be involved in the football decisions over the people currently responsible for football decisions.

I know that we have been up and down, but some Panthers fans deserve to pull for the Browns. JR did a lot of good things for this area and brought us a team we can be proud of. Obviously, the wheels came off for him in the end, but he did a lot of good for the majority of his time as owner. Hopefully Tepper will continue that and even improve upon it, but it's very far from a given. No owner plans to have a losing franchise.

Seems you have a conundrum considering Tepper is the one keeping those people in their positions.

Not surprised really, Tepper is a winner.  Look at the legacy he's got so far in life, he is determined to succeed at any level and I believe he'll get it.  Glad he's focusing 100% at this.
