It be like that some times though. 

Yet he would still have given up 4-5 goals if we knew how to shoot. Or 3-4 in the first 2. This series, even though Boston has played well, is more about us beating ourselves and not knowing how to do the basic things that an ECF team should already have down pat.

I'm probably buying a season ticket package for next season. This team has some promise and Brind'Amour did a helluva coaching job this year- very impressed with him.

But the Canes definitely need to find one or 2 guys who can stick handle. Their passing in the defensive zone had me holding my breath like I did every time Jimmy Claussen threw a pass- just knowing something bad was gonna happen.

I've been watching hockey for about 50 years now.  That was one of the worst endings I have ever seen to a hockey game, one that was good up until that point.  I'm not sure how that is not on the list of things leading up to a goal that can't be reviewed.  While the hand pass did not put the puck in the net, it was certainly part of the sequence that did.  

I can understand how the officials did not see it.  The referee closest to it was probably screened off.  But the league looks like idiots right now with the bureaucratic explanation and the fact the replay system could not be used.

It was bad enough that when the officials talked to Toronto, I am surprised nobody told them, added to the comment "you can't review that", "but one of you just told me you saw the hand pass, didn't you." (not a question)

Don't blame the "cheating". Blame the lack of PP goals. 1 goal to their 5, and penalties are about equal.

I must say, the win or lose video on SM by the canes is miles ahead of the panthers and that’s saying a lot. Props to the whole Hurricane crew. It’s almost up there with lilsmitty poo.
