This is what frustrates me. How poor we are at handling the puck and making passes. It's infuriating. I feel like we have beat ourselves more than getting beat by the Bruins.

No doubt...  it's just sloppy.  Like Thomas mentioned, it just feels like we have a ton of grinders and overachievers out there with no real skill offensively, and it's frustrating to watch.

Watching WAS and BOS have multiple guys who can get the puck and just dangle around the net and multiple defenders with ease and seemingly never miss their passes, while we lose the puck in open ice and whiff on shots and passes, it's clear to me that we have out-hustled our way to this point.  That's admirable and I love the heart and grit of this team, but we need some skill guys next season.

This was a great season and a good one to build off of, but Boston is just OP and we have some upgrades we need to make before we can take that next step.

We really need to get someone who can put the puck in the net this offseason.

Don't even get me started on our power play defense.

I feel like our PK is so bad because we are so aggressive on it. We are doubling people in non-dangerous areas and then scramble around to try and recover when opposing teams cycle the puck.

That being said, the PP unit is a far greater concern than the PK unit - and agree that we need to get people that can finish on our team.

Honestly, this team has significantly overachieved to get where they have. Boston is unfortunately probably the worst matchup for us, before factoring in the officiating that aided Boston a good deal in games 1 and 2 (although 2 it didn't really matter because the team looked like poo)

The first period told the whole story. Outplayed Boston handily (minus the penalties) and Rask saved them. Still missed on a couple that with better accuracy would have been goals.

No worries... just gotta win four straight. Lol

People can talk all about Rask if they want, but if we had better shooters, he gives up 4 goals easily. We took lots of bad shots. Even with that, the biggest reason why we are down is the PP. We are sloppy on the PP and don't know how to set it up. It also doesn't help that we don't know how to pass and handle the puck. Bottom line, Bruins can convert on PP and we can't and it's the biggest reason why we are losing despite our other faults.

Don’t deserve to win in the ECF if you can’t finish point blank open nets. Future is bright.

Yep. If we hit those in game 1 and yesterday, it’s 2-1 us not 0-3. Oh well, we far exceeded expectations this year and have a ton of money to make moves this offseason too if we choose to.

So frustrating.  Great opportunities and we shoot the puck 3 feet wide of the net.  Mishandled pucks, turnovers, inability to beat defenders in one-on-ones...  and Rask is a fuging cyborg.  poo is frustrating.

Rask was hit by 4-5 bad shots that were typical nhl goals.  We just cant convert
