PFF: Panthers did great check out these homegrown rankings!

Huddle: PFF the GOAT! We are killing it.

PFF: Panthers player ranked dead last in homegrown ranking system.

Huddle: PFF rankings mean nothing SMH!

I see nothing wrong with this

PFF isn’t much different than most talent evaluators. Get some things right and some things wrong. I think they’re generally a bit better than the other media sources. They’ve obviously had some huge miscues such as Luke’s rookie year and Cam his whole career (for Panthers examples) but they also have a fair amount of spot on evaluations of players and predictions of how players will progress be proved true.

PFF hasn't been as unfavorable to Cam as other QB evaluation metrics. They are about average from what I have gathered.

PFF is like a good forum poster, that's about as far as I go in my believing their opinion.

That’s pretty much it. I’ve never put stock in their system. If they like our class, yay!  Doesn’t make me feel better or worse about it, but it’s nice to read others’ opinion when it’s positive about the team. If they don’t like our class, whatever.  Doesn’t make me feel better or worse about it, but I don’t want to read negative things about our team.

    • I am not at all interested in even thinking about a WR or TE. Let's see how the combine goes. He would need a lot more than that film to impress me. For a guy who watches zero CFB I wasn't that impressed. Good hands but nothing screams top 10 pick with him to me. He looks solid but nothing more. That's what I want a 2nd round TE to look like, good physicals and hands but lacks meaningful separation.
    • I think Tepper is a terrible owner, but not because he doesn't want to win. He's a terrible owner because he is impatient and doesn't know what the fug he is doing.
