How anyone found video on Damien Jeanpierre ?

I looked everywhere and have not been able to find any footage of this WR we signed.... I was curious because he ran a 4.25

He didn’t say it was at the Combine. Players often run the 40 at their Pro Day as well. Athletes generally always time faster at their Pro Day since they’re timed manually with stop watches, but a 4.25 is still quite impressive for a Pro Day.

You know there’s no such thing as an FCS Combine, right? What that guy is referring to is some database on a website where they’ve manually constructed a compilation of results from the Pro Days of prospects who didn’t participate in the actual Combine. In this case, the 4.44 seems to be a mistake since his 4.25 was published across a number of reputable sites like ESPN, and I have yet to see the 4.44 corroborated anywhere else.

If you just spent even 30 seconds on a Google search, you could read up on this guy for yourself a little...instead, you dismissed and criticized the OP’s factual statement and instead, took another poster’s misinformation as fact without even a second thought. What you’ve just demonstrated was the absolute perfect case study on confirmation bias.

It’s amazing the lengths that people go to not criticize players brought in by the current regime. If he just gets to Byrd’s stats, that would be exceeding expectations.

Damion Jeanpiere Jr., Nicholls, WR, 5-11, 170

Speaking of sizzling 40s, Jeanpiere clocked 4.25 at his pro day (plus, 6.41 in the 5-10-5 short shuttle). NFL Draft Scout says the blazer has the "it" factor because "he is tough to tackle and he can't be caught if he gets a step." Jeanpiere has excellent ball skills and averaged over 18 yards per reception in his career.

 

Intersting dude.  Not sure if he would run an official 4.25 but he seems to be a burner at least.  Love the underdog guys this time of year.

Notes: From Kenner, LA. Majoring in petroleum engineering. Caught 7-199-1 in five games as a true freshman in 2015, before a season-ending injury. Started all 11 games and caught 37-505-6 in 2016. Caught 40-770-4 in 2017.

Positives: Nice height, speed and separation. Good hands. Adjusts to and plucks the ball. Good feet, body control and athleticism. Uses his body nicely to shield defenders from the ball. Shifty, nifty, darting runner after the catch. Good run vision and change of direction in the open field. Shows very good field awareness and instincts. Good work ethic.

Negatives: Needs some strength work and overall skill refinement. Productive, but did not truly dominate at a lower level of competition.

Summary: Has a legitimate NFL toolset to make the jump to the next level. Would likely be much more highly regarded at a major-college program with a prolific passing attack.

He already pointed out that an athlete's pro day time isn't as accurate. You want a bone for making the same point and acting like you are teaching him something?

For someone who wasn't invited to the combine, the pro day is the only 40 we have. How many people clock a 4.25 at their pro day? I would bet very few. Does it mean absolutely nothing? Even if he's closer to a 4.4, that's a damn good time for a wr. Would put him in the top 10% for a wr easily.

Also, what's the point in criticizing a training camp body? He'll be lucky to make the team. Does it make you feel like a big man to belittle any potential he might have?

Nah l looked at his highlight tape there and that isn't 4.25 speed. To many CBs running stride for stride with him at the 1aa level no less. Notice how all his big play catches they tackle him as he makes the deep catch,even when he breaks free he isn't a catch and gone,he has to reverse field and shake and all kind of stuff. 4.25(see hollywood brown) one catch and its enough...gone..
