Comp Picks for 2020

From over the cap.  FYI we get :poo:

Rookie pools for 2019 are on the left and before everyone starts, it will not cost us 6.8 million against the cap to sign our draft picks.  Everything from round 5 on won't count against the cap at all because the are under the top 51 cap hits and for everyone of the other picks we sign a current guy counting toward the cap comes off.  Yes we will still have cap room.

According to Spotrac, we're sitting at a little over $10M in cap space.

We also created room for two on the roster after the release of Searcy and Battle being waived.

Allen Bailey and Eric Berry pls?

Sure, we didn't get any comp picks . . . but we still have all of our regular picks next year.  Let's not lose sight of that.

Isn’t that normally what is to be expected? For the most part didn’t we have that this season?

You are of aware of who the GM is? While I'm thrilled he didn't trade any future picks during the draft, its something he's done with regularity.

    • Lower floors than AR coming out, or lower floors than AR now?  Are you counting that he has proven to be a productive goal line back?  AR as a prospect had just about the lowest floor you can possibly have.  Probably the same as Milroe.  Dart's floor looks a lot closer to backup QB to me, but the issue is that his ceiling doesn't look too far from that either. It's crazy that teams are drafting scratch off lottery tickets at QB with 1st round picks.
